Nokia has announced its first ever Android based
phone at MWC in Barcelona. Nokia has landed on the android platform with three
new android based phones.
The phone runs on a
version of Android Open Source Project (AOSP), with access to side loading of
android apps, third-party app stores and Nokia’s own store as well.
Nokia X and X+ is
launched as a 4 inch budget smart phone and Nokia XL will be a 5 inch phone
with the flagship of X series phone. The starting price of Nokia X will be
around 89 euros (Rs. 7600) and X+ around 99 euros(Rs. 8400) but its
availability in India is still uncertain. Sources says that Nokia X will be
available in India and other countries soon but the other two models can be
expected later in quarter two of this year.
