BlackBerry Z10
which runs the latest BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.2.1 has received a big price
cut and is now available at a price of Rs 17,990 under a limited period offer of
60 days from today. This offer is a part of the 10th anniversary celebrations
of BlackBerry in Indian market.
In
September 2013 its price was reduced 31% from Rs. 43,490 to Rs. 29,990.
BlackBerry
is offering the devices at such a low price so as to acquaint the users the
cutting edge experience with a revolutionary operating system. Also the company
is loosing out to competitors suffering financial losses and took an inventory
write down for the unsold devices.
The
new OS offers support for Hinglish and Hindi typing. The device features a 8 MP
AF camera and 2 MP front camera and 1.5GHz Krait dual core processor with 2 GB
of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB. It has a 4.2-inch
display with a resolution of 768 X 1280pixels and 1,850mAh battery. The phone
also features a micro HDMI out port for presentations and advanced sensors like
NFC supporting mobile payments.
