The president of Russian Vladimir Putin has on Friday 21st March signed into
law legislation on the accession of Crimea. This result came after both houses
of parliament unanimously approved it.
Putin at the signing ceremony said that today he have signed
several decrees including the decree on the formation of one more federal
district, Crime.
He also said that a lot of works have to be done before the
adoption of Crimea and on its joining the legal system of Russia and the
Russian economy along with the social sphere.
Putin has appointed Oleg Vladimirovich Bulavintsev as the
presidential envoy in Crimea. He also urged both houses of the parliament to
facilitate the accession of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia reported by a news
source.
The Russian President has requested deputies of both the houses to
actively engage in this work and do everything that depends on them to make
this process seamless and beneficial for all Russian and Crimean residents.
