Mark Zukeberg is planning to make Facebook
more sci-fi in the near future by beaming internet from the sky.
Earlier, it was revealed that drones
satellites and lasers are being developed at Facebook’s connectivity lab which
would deliver internet to 3 billion people in underdeveloped countries.

on solar powered high altitude long endurance aircraft for suburban areas in
limited geographical regions. These aircraft can be quickly deployed and can
stay in the air for months to deliver reliable internet connections.
He also said that low earth orbit and
geosynchronous satellites can beam internet access to the ground for areas with
lower density.
Facebook is working on ways to beam internet
to people from the sky in their effort to connect the whole world with
Internet.org. He said that the key to expanding the internet’s reach is new
technology.
Sources say that Facebook team has many
leading experts from all over the world in aerospace and communications
technology including NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab and Ames Research Center.
After buying WhatsApp for $19 billion,
