Lenovo has launched its high end S series smartphone 'S860' in India. It
is priced at Rs 21,500.
The
highlight of the smartphone is its battery. It has a 4000 mAh gigantic battery
that gives 24 hours of talk time and standby time of 960 hours on 3G networks.

Mathur, Director-Smartphones of Lenovo India said that "The new range of S
series smart phones complements the user aspirations. Bundled with stylish
design, blazing fast processing speeds and integrated Lenovo proprietary apps
these series of phones provide customers a great user experience without
sacrificing performance features ".
The
phone has a 5.3 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The
device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core Media Tek (MT6582) processor coupled with
2 GB RAM. It runs on Android Jelly Bean OS which might be upgradeable.
It
sports an 8 MP AF rear camera with LED flash, with sharp image capture functions
to snap and share amazing photos. It also comes with a 1.6 MP secondary camera.
The phone has dual SIM capacity with an internal storage of 16 GB but is not
expandable.
For
connectivity it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, GPRS, EDGE and other basic
connectivity options along with support for USB OTG.
The present available colour is Titanium. It is
available in online store from 28th April and will be available at
retail stores from 3rd May.
