The
launching price of Samsung Galaxy S5 will be lower than S4. The news has been
confirmed by South Korean giant ZDNet in a Press meet that the Taiwanese launch
price of the Galaxy S5 would be 540 euros. The launching price of Galaxy S4 was
600 euros.
The
price of Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear Fit Smartwatch is also released in The Press
Meet. According to Information Gear 2 would cost $295 and Gear Fit Smartwatch
would cost $197. Original Galaxy Gear was launched at $300.
The phone will be
launched worldwide on 11th April. It would cost around Rs 40,000 in
India.
The
phone was unveiled last month at the MWC 2014 but without any information on price.
The
phone has come up with a several new features and better specifications. One of
its notable features includes the Heart-rate monitor and fingerprint sensor.
The
display of Galaxy S5 is also bigger than S4 which is a 5.10-inch Super AMOLED
(1080 X 1920p) display. It also sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel
front camera and has the ability to capture 4K video. Samsung has claimed the
auto-focus speed of this phone to be 0.3 seconds which is the fastest ever.
The phone is also specified with a 2.5 GHz processor, 2 GB RAM and
2800 mAh battery with latest Kit Kat version of Android OS.
